Artist Statement
The emotional tone balances between safety and exposure, creating a dialogue between gentle weight and bright vulnerability. The color palette uses soft greens and browns for safety blended with lighter blues and whites to suggest exposure. The collision occurs predominantly in the center, where shades intertwine and interrupt each other to embody the tension between open vulnerability and protective layers. The placement of broken pixels introduces imperfections, echoing life's unpredictable nature in both safety and exposure, while maintaining enough negative space around the edges to allow the artwork to breathe.
