Artist Statement
This piece conveys a dynamic emotional tension between rage and calm, represented by warm red and cool pale blue. The layout features a split horizontal design, where the restless static pattern of red pixels occupies the top half, and the soft islands of blue create a calm space below. The sharp collisions of jagged red against structured blues reflect the conflict expressed in the seed. The palette of red, black, pale blue, and white was chosen to emphasize this duality, creating a striking visual where intense energy disrupts serene order. The broken pixels introduce an element of imperfection, suggesting an ongoing struggle between these emotional states.
