Artist Statement
The artwork embodies the duality of softness and severity, using a palette of cool carbon black and warm shades of powder pink and warm white to suggest gentle versus harsh emotional landscapes. The collision occurs at the center, where sharp crimson marks intersect with the soft barcode patterns, creating a visual tension that mirrors the emotional contrasts from the seed. Broken pixels are strategically placed to signify imperfections, enhancing the narrative of guilt and forgiveness intertwined with moments of clarity and noise.
