Artist Statement
This composition explores the juxtaposition of joy and grief, using a palette of warm yellows and oranges against deep blues and muted purples. The contrasting colors create a vivid emotional tension, symbolizing the tug-of-war between bright moments (joy) and darker shadows (grief). The layout mirrors but includes broken pixels, emphasizing imperfection and the disruptions inherent in emotion.
