Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional dichotomy of emptiness versus desire, utilizing a palette that contrasts warm and cool tones to reflect this tension. The top half uses darker, muted colors to symbolize emptiness, broken by sporadic warm hues that suggest interruptions of desire. The lower half features brighter colors, depicting an overwhelming desire punctuated by areas of darkness, symbolizing the loneliness that can accompany such longing. The arrangement allows for feelings of pressure and release, evoking an orbiting flow that resonates with the seed's themes.
