Artist Statement

This abstract artwork plays on the emotional dichotomy of restlessness and peace, utilizing a palette of lime, electric blue, magenta, and black to create a visual tension. The choice of colors captures the conflict inherent in the seed; lime and electric blue exude energy and pulse, while magenta and black provide deep, serene fields that anchor the chaotic elements. The layout features a narrow negative-space channel that traverses the denser patterns on either side, embodying the concept of a journey between chaos and calm. The main collision occurs centrally, where static patterns of instability intersect radial forms of peace, suggesting the struggle of movement against stillness. Broken pixels are scattered subtly, ensuring that the composition feels alive yet imperfect, mirroring the dynamic between memory and motion. Each color is intentionally positioned to evoke a sense of rhythm and disruption, showcasing how these emotional forces coexist and clash.
