Artist Statement
The emotional tone plays with the duality of vulnerability and strength, using a palette that juxtaposes warmth (honey gold) with cooler, muted tones (deep olive and ripe green). The collision happens in the center where the stronger colors surround a pale whisper of cream, echoing the theme of being both exposed and sheltered. The spiral pressure layout emphasizes movement towards the center, creating an impression of a protective enclosure contrasted against open vulnerability.
