Artist Statement
The emotional tone of this artwork encapsulates the struggle between control and surrender. The palette, with its mixture of clean white, ice blue, and warning orange, reflects clarity amidst confusion, allowing for a stark contrast that draws the viewer in. The main collision occurs in the center, where the heavy outlines of deep black and violet-gray meet the lighter tones, creating a dynamic tension. The layout starts from a corner, flowing diagonally across the grid, suggesting encroachment and yielding at the same time, akin to an overflowing energy which is pulled back into a structured framework. This pattern embodies the balance of chaos and order, highlighted by the emerging chaos represented through broken pixels strategically placed to disrupt the symmetry.
