Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between safety and exposure through the use of a split vertical layout. The left side employs warm browns symbolizing soft barriers and cozy enclosures, while the right side features icy cold whites and pale skin tones reflecting bright vulnerability. The flow shifts from dense patterns on the left to a sparser arrangement on the right, illustrating the pressure of safety contrasting with the release of exposure. The interaction of colors creates echoes and interruptions, reinforcing the dialogue of protection versus openness.
