Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between relief and dread, captured through contrasting tones of muted storm gray against the lighter soft sky and faded gold. The dense cluster of dark colors in the top corner represents the weight of dread, gradually loosening into a lighter palette towards the bottom, suggesting a soft release. The intentional broken pixels symbolize the imperfections and disruptions within this emotional journey. The layout of falling pixels creates a sense of movement, emphasizing the transition from pressure to liberation.
