Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between longing and resolve, utilizing a color palette that contrasts ripe greens and deep olives with honey gold and cream. The darker tones signify a sense of yearning and brokenness, while the lighter shades lend a feeling of stability and warmth. The main collision between light and dark occurs in the center, where two small color clusters pulse against a background of negative space, suggestive of both serenity and urgency in their quiet dance.
