Artist Statement
This composition reflects the emotional struggle between desire and emptiness through contrasting warm and cool tones. The chosen colors from the palette evoke feelings of loneliness and yearning, with navy and black representing emptiness against the bright signal of white and dim cyan, embodying desire. The upward movement on one side is disrupted by a downward flow on the other, creating visual tension. The broken pixel pattern symbolizes the imperfections of longing, while maintaining 10% negative space evokes a sense of calm amidst the noise. The interplay between these elements generates a dynamic yet abstract visual narrative.
