Artist Statement
This abstract composition represents the emotional interplay between desire and restraint. The palette features rich reds and muted creams to symbolize warmth and longing against the cooler tones of blackened plum and iron gray, reflecting containment. The central area displays bright, saturated colors that escalate outward, symbolizing desire expanding and challenging the boundaries of the cooler, restrained outer edges.
