Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional duality of vulnerability and strength through a palette of cool and warm tones. The clean white at the center symbolizes exposed fragility, surrounded by deeper colors that signify rooted strength. The juxtaposition of ice blue and ink black creates a tension that flows from the top left corner to the center, where the collisions suggest a breaking of boundaries. The added broken pixels are intentional scars, enhancing the notion of exposure against shelter.
