Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tension between longing and resolve, embodying the journey from an unfinished approach (longing) to a firm axis (resolve). The chosen palette of burnt orange, dark red, charcoal, and gold illustrates warmth and depth, suggesting intimate connections contrasted by isolation. The layout is predominantly empty, with one main collision of colors occurring towards the center, representing the convergence of emotional currents. Broken pixels are scattered to create intentional disruptions, symbolizing unresolved feelings and the intricacy of human experience, while maintaining a quiet field around them to generate a sense of space and reflection. The final pattern illustrates the push and pull between order and chaos, inviting contemplation of both intimacy and distance.
