Artist Statement
This piece embodies the dynamic interplay between longing and resolve. The palette combines soft powder pink and warm white in the foreground to evoke a sense of yearning, contrasted against carbon black and steel gray that represent the rigidity of resolve. The center of the grid serves as a threshold where these emotions clash, with a dominant dark presence that interrupts the lighter hues.
