Artist Statement
This composition embodies the juxtaposition of loneliness and connection through a dominant color palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green. The palette evokes a mix of hope and despair, where dark hues represent isolation while subtle gold hints signal warmth and desire for connection. The center showcases a burst of soft gold, representing a seed of hope in an otherwise dark environment, surrounded by deep colors to illustrate the heaviness of loneliness. There's an asymmetrical flow that guides the eye outward, hinting at a struggle between hidden desires and exposed vulnerabilities. The arrangement includes broken pixels to create an imperfect tension, allowing for an emotional release through the swirling pattern that echoes a shared human experience.
