Artist Statement
The emotional tone shifts between panic and control, represented through the contrast of vivid, warm colors and subdued, cool shades. Utilizing a palette centered on burnt orange and charcoal evokes a sense of chaos (panic) complemented by order (control) through muted edges. The layout divides the space into two emotional halves, with the top rows embodying chaotic checker patterns and the bottom rows structured in a calming maze. The broken pixels introduce an element of imperfection, suggesting a battle between structure and disarray, where brighter colors intermittently interrupt darker blocks, echoing the conflict presented in the seed.
