Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the intensity of rage with the softness of tenderness. The palette, consisting of deep black that symbolizes rage, pale blue and white representing calmness, allows a dynamic contrast. The main collision occurs in the center where black jagged lines disrupt the gentle horizontal blue channels, symbolizing the interplay of rage breaking into calm. Patterns of broken frames interrupt smooth edges, giving a sense of imperfection and chaos while the arrangement still attempts to hold a symmetry, echoing the complexity of emotions.
