Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength, depicted through a careful interplay of color and pattern. The palette—rooted in 'ancient_fire'—combines burnt orange and dark red, suggesting warmth but also potential danger. The central pixel arrangement captures vulnerability with a grid while the edges, represented by thick ember-like blocks, assert strength. The flow of 'falling_pixels' gives a sense of weight descending into the center, while intentional broken pixels disrupt uniformity, symbolizing the contrast between guaranteed safety and the exposure of the broken mirror. The collision point occurs centrally, where the vulnerability of the 'grid' meets the aggressive texture of 'embers', creating a dynamic visual narrative that invites reflection on resilience.
