Artist Statement
This composition reflects the interplay between emptiness and desire. The top half represents a longing for warmth and connection through varied shades of red, while the bottom half embodies emptiness and coldness through a spectrum of blacks and pale blues. The dense patterns of warmth collide against the sparse, fragmented pixels below, embodying the tension of ‘rise versus fall.’ The choice of colors creates a visual noise, suggesting a struggle, amplifying the emotional landscape derived from the seed.
