Artist Statement
The emotional tone centers around the interplay between vulnerability and strength, explored through a contrasting palette of dark hues and soft accents. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green embodies the tension of hope against fear. The main collision occurs at the center where the strengths of braiding patterns clash with the open fields of vulnerability, creating a visual narrative of conflict and resonance. Each pixel has been intentionally placed to suggest layers of pressure, separation, and connection, reflecting the complexity of emotion while respecting negative space to enhance impact.
