Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional conflicts described in the seed. The palette juxtaposes warm tones against cooler shades to amplify the feeling of pressure versus calmness (reds and oranges against blues). The stark contrasts of black and white create areas of collision, signifying moments of intense emotion. The rhythmic placement of colors embodies echoes of release, with clusters of warm colors suggesting a build-up followed by areas of calm, simulating the push and pull of emotional experiences.
