Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional clash between fear and hope. The black and dark violet represent the weight of fear, creating heavy tension, while soft gold and pale green symbolize the glimmers of hope. The palette suggests a struggle between dense, dark spaces and soft, uplifting light. The diagonal flow mimics a shedding of burdens, with bursts of light interrupting the dark, representing the emerging hope. The central space is deliberately left empty, contrasting with the surrounding pixel density, embodying vulnerability against the fortified edges, evoking the concept of a fragile yet resilient spirit.
