Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional struggle between safety and exposure, using a palette of soft greens and warm browns to evoke feelings of shelter, contrasted by pale whites and cool blues representing exposure. The pattern alternates between a 'ladder' structure representing safety and a 'crosshatch' for exposure. The main collision occurs centrally, where lighter tones ripple through darker borders, symbolizing tension. The broken pixels introduce imperfections, emulating transitional moments of vulnerability. This creates a dynamic visual story of opposing emotions coexisting, delicately intertwined within a structured yet hollow space.
