Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional struggle between loneliness and connection. The selected palette of dark maroon, gray, and red evokes a sense of depth, reminiscent of muted emotions and unfulfilled desires. The pattern features a noise element densely planted on the left, drawing attention to the heavy side of loneliness, contrasted by sparse, bright dots suggesting moments of connection on the right, where the emotional release occurs. The arrangement's right-weighted asymmetry reflects a subtle invasion of light amidst the brokenness, echoing memories while maintaining negative space to symbolize absence.
