Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between confusion and clarity through contrasting color arrangements. The palette, inspired by 'broken memory', combines sepia and dusty tones contrasted with faded blue to represent the fractured ideas of sense versus chaos. The outer edges, more muted and chaotic, signify confusion, while the center's more defined pattern, created using the grid motif, suggests clarity struggling to emerge from disarray. The placement of broken pixels introduces intentional imperfections, visualizing the 'falling pixels' concept, while ensuring enough negative space persists, echoing moments of quiet contemplation amidst turmoil.
