Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the tug-of-war between fear and hope, utilizing a palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green to embody these feelings. The left side is dense and dark to signify the pressure associated with fear, while the right side is lighter and interspersed with brighter hues suggesting hope and release. The composition features jagged edges and soft frames in a split vertical layout, where the collision amplifies the tension between the heavy lower pixels and the emerging brightness, creating a dynamic interplay of forms and feelings.
