Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between restlessness and peace. I selected a palette that juxtaposes the calmness of pale aqua and mist gray against the urgency of alarm red and ink blue. The left half embodies restlessness with darker colors exhibiting chaotic movement (broken frame), while the right side uses lighter tones symbolizing peace (flame) to suggest containment. The main contrast happens centrally, highlighted by the meeting of bold color on the edge of tranquility. This arrangement evokes the dynamics of memory (motion) and its interplay with static peace, creating a story of vibrant interruption and reflective calm.
