Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between 'longing' and 'resolve' using a palette that dances between muted grays and warm accents. The top half represents longing through a checker pattern in soft sky and pale mint, creating a sense of distance and ethereal quality. The bottom half embodies resolve with a static pattern in storm gray and near black, establishing a grounded, compressed strength.
