Artist Statement
This composition captures the tension between clarity and distortion. The palette of navy, black, white, and dim cyan mirrors the emotional tone of signal against persistent noise. Sharp contrasts shine through thick outlines that establish a boundary, while patterns of pulse marks create rhythmic interruptions. The color placement, with a dominant dark navy representing noise, coincides with bright whites signaling moments of clarity, colliding toward the center, simulating an invasion of distinct signals through chaotic static. The intentional broken pixels serve as visual echoes of wear and transient memories.
