Artist Statement
The emotional tone oscillates between the dense weight of pressure and the ethereal lightness of quiet. The chosen palette of off-white, dust gray, compressed red, dark navy, and faint peach creates a contrast between soft and hard edges, with off-white and faint peach acting as accents against the deeper colors. The main collision occurs at the center where dark navy and compressed red create a vibrant disruption in an otherwise fluid arrangement of soft tones. This arrangement reflects the seed, with the jagged edges echoing the conflict of symmetry and break, while the scattered pattern of the pressure theme collides with the maze-like quality of quiet, creating a visual tension that speaks to fragility.
