Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the softness of feathered colors against the severity of darker, structured elements. The selected palette blends 'powder pink' and 'warm white' to represent softness, while 'carbon black' and 'sharp crimson' symbolize the harshness. The grid and flood patterns conflict in the center, creating a central point where soft colors bleed into strict lines, symbolizing a struggle between giving in and holding on. The arrangement trails off towards darker edges, evoking a sense of weight and gravity, while the broken pixels introduce disruptions, subtly challenging the composition's rigidity.
