Artist Statement
This artwork explores the push and pull between tenderness and rage. The use of deep reds and black along with softer pale blue and white creates a palpable tension, symbolizing the collision of anger and gentleness. The vertical arrangement of colors reflects a sense of climbing amidst strife, with the central area dominated by warmer reds to evoke rage, while the soft blue provides a contrasting calm that embodies tenderness. The broken pixels disrupt the flow, representing moments of imperfection amidst the emotional turmoil, while negative spaces give room for thought and reflection.
