Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the duality of 'longing' and 'resolve'. The palette, inspired by muted tones, suggests an underlying tension, using rich reds and deep plums to evoke a sense of urgency and depth, while warm creams provide a soothing contrast. The center of the square is dense with color, encapsulating a wave of emotion that spills towards the borders, which are less saturated.
