Artist Statement
The emotional tone of the artwork balances between vulnerability and strength. I chose a palette that echoes warmth (yellow, orange) and coolness (deep blue, muted purple) to create tension. The central collision is marked by overlapping crosshatch and braid patterns, allowing the viewer to experience an interplay between strength and fragility. The soft interior mimics a vulnerable state, while the thick blues provide a sense of rooted protection, effectively illustrating the seed's exploration of contrasting emotions and their coexistence.
