Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional juxtaposition of confusion and clarity. The top half embodies confusion through a maze-like arrangement of dark hues, suggesting a feeling of being lost in a labyrinth. The use of broken pixels introduces imperfection—symbolizing uncertainty. In contrast, the bottom half radiates clarity, characterized by cleaner, radial patterns in vibrant colors that suggest order and ease. The palette balances warm electric blues and magentas against a solid black, adding depth and vibrancy, while the thick outlines reinforce the separation of these emotional realms.
