Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the dichotomy between longing and resolve, expressed through the gradual transition from a dense set of colors in the corner to a more neutral, empty space, echoing the idea of distance and intimacy. The palette combines soft addresses of longing (powder pink and warm white) with the severity of resolve (carbon black and sharp crimson), creating tension through contrast. The central collision occurs at the diagonal fall, where the warmth of longing clashes against the sturdy, resolved boundaries, embodying the struggle between yearning and depth; this shapes an abstract pattern that reflects the complexities of emotional dynamics.
