Artist Statement
This abstract composition reflects the emotional tension between desire and emptiness, symbolizing a struggle where a saturated pull collides with restrained boundaries. The chosen palette of warm coral and orange against muted charcoal and hollow blue encapsulates this dichotomy, where warm colors represent desire's intensity while cool tones signify emptiness. The intentional placement of broken pixels introduces imperfections and discord, mimicking moments of disruption amidst a fight for control across the grid. Main contrast occurs in the center where warm echoes of desire disrupt the cool stepwell pattern of emptiness, creating a visual and emotional collision that evokes tension and release.
