Artist Statement
This piece encapsulates the emotional struggle of relief battling dread through the interplay of dark and light colors. The selected palette of deep blacks juxtaposed with pale blues creates a visceral contrast, emphasizing emotional collision. The 'grid' pattern representing relief is subtly interrupted by jagged edges and broken pixels, embodying the disarray of dread.
