Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a dance between panic and control, embodied in the contrasting color palette of burnt orange and dark red against charcoal and gold. The upward and downward pixel movement creates a tension that reflects the push and pull of these emotions. Central to the composition, a collision of color occurs, creating a stark contrast that echoes the seed's narrative of emotional release and pressure. The broken pixels add intentional imperfections, reinforcing the idea of disruptions within a mirrored layout, inviting contemplation of how control can fracture under pressure.
