Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a juxtaposition of joy and grief, represented through a palette that combines warm yellows and oranges symbolizing joy with deep blues and muted purples indicating grief. The contrasting colors create a dynamic tension throughout the piece: the top half bursts with brightness, while the bottom dwells in darker tonalities, embodying hope versus despair.
