Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a juxtaposition of awe and terror, creating a sense of simultaneous wonder and anxiety. The palette, inspired by 'broken_memory,' uses sepia, tan, dust_gray, and faded_blue to evoke nostalgia yet disquiet, with muted colors representing quiet tension and the contrasts representing the inherent chaos of feelings colliding. The main contrast occurs in the center where lighter colors clash against darker edges, suggesting an inner turmoil surrounded by protective emotional noise. The layout offers a frame and core structure, reflecting the inner versus outer emotional experience. The broken lines and imperfect spaces symbolize the fractures in emotions, allowing quietness to interrupt rhythmic patterns.
