Artist Statement
This piece encapsulates the tension between quietude and pressure, represented through a contrasting palette of off-white, dust gray, compressed red, dark navy, and faint peach. The main collision occurs diagonally, where the compressed red and dark navy clash against the softer hues, illustrating the battle between solidity and fluidity. The layout features bands that shift from dense color clusters to expansive negative spaces, capturing the transformation implied by the seed's emotional tones. Broken pixels quietly disrupt the symmetry, evoking feelings of imperfection amidst contrast.
