Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between confusion and clarity using a contrasting palette of red, pale blue, black, and white. The left side, representing confusion, employs a stripe pattern to convey chaos and broken symmetry, while the right side uses radial patterns to symbolize clarity's soothing flow. The interaction between the warm red and cool pale blue creates a constant back-and-forth, a collision of emotions manifesting as both density and release. Broken pixels introduce unpredictability, reinforcing the concept of imperfection and highlighting the battle between structured clarity and fragmented confusion.
