Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension between clarity (signal) and interference (noise). The palette of navy, black, and dim cyan evokes a sense of isolation and depth, while the single white serves as a bright pulse amidst the darkness. Central to the piece is a concentrated cluster of light, representing the readable rhythm that struggles to exist amid overwhelming static. The patterns of negative crosses and ripples symbolize this conflict, merging softly in the center and breaking into jagged disruptions towards the edges, embodying the struggle between exposure and shelter.
