Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy between confusion and clarity through its juxtaposed left and right halves. The left side embodies confusion with a chaotic arrangement of dark violets and muted golds creating a sense of noise and overlapping paths. In contrast, the right side achieves clarity with crosshatched patterns of pale green layered against a smoother black background. The choice of the palette communicates tension, with darker tones representing confusion and lighter colors evoking clarity. The thick outline suggests rigidity while the broken pixels introduce imperfection, serving as a metaphor for the fragility of clarity amidst confusion.
