Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tension between isolation and interconnectedness. The chosen colors, primarily from a muted palette of deep blacks and soft golds, evoke feelings of loneliness, while pale greens suggest hope and connection. The outer ring employs vertical stripes to represent isolation, contrasting with a more chaotic inner section highlighted by a burst of bright color.
