Artist Statement
This piece uses a palette of red, black, pale blue, and white to embody the tension between tenderness and rage. The contrasting colors create a dynamic interplay, with red representing the explosive nature of rage and pale blue symbolizing the softness of tenderness. Main collision occurs at the center, where jagged red forms disrupt soothing blue lines, embodying the emotional struggle depicted in the seed. Variations in pixel integrity introduce a sense of brokenness and organic imperfection, creating a visual representation of guilt and forgiveness. The layout deliberately divides the canvas, mirroring the internal conflict of the emotions at play.
