Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength. The palette employs deep blacks and pale blues to contrast the intensity of strength (defined by dark hues) against the subtle fragility of light (illustrated through pale blue). The central conflict occurs in the middle where dense patterns collide with quieter spaces, echoing the seed's narrative of exposure versus shelter. The split screen and ash field patterns create a dynamic interplay, allowing the viewer to feel the weight of the struggle and the layers of emotion within the abstract.
